About Us:
Kingswood Golf Club was designed in the 1920’s by the five times open champion, James Braid, and comprises 6,900 yards of golfing experience. This mature parkland course, regarded as one of the leading parkland courses in Surrey, has undergone extensive re-design and construction under the guidance of Howard Swan, recognised course architect for James Braid designed courses.
A position has arisen at Kingswood Golf Club, for someone to join our experienced team of greenkeepers. Applications are invited from those who have previous experience and are looking for an opportunity to gain more experience and qualifications.

The position involves routine course upkeep, project support, and use of modern greenkeeping machinery. It is suited to candidates with turf management training or experience who are eager to develop their skills while contributing to the club’s high standards.
The Role:
- Routine maintenance and presentation of all playing surfaces & bunkers as directed by the Course Management team
- Supporting the clubs advancement and ongoing improvement of the golf course through various projects and sustainable greenkeeping techniques
- Applicants will be required to use a wide range of modern greenkeeping equipment
- 40 hour week all year round, with option of paid overtime or time off in lieu available on a weekend rota basis
- Flexibility needed to work varied hours such as earlier starts for competitions/events as required (10-15 events per year)
Desirable Skills:
- Obtained or working towards NVQ in Sports Turf Management (or equivalent qualification)
- Previous experience as part of a greenkeeping team
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
- Familiar with a range of greenkeeping machinery and operations
- Attention to detail and pro active in delivering high standards of course presentation
Salary and benefits
- Competitive salary & benefits package for a 40-hour working week, dependent on experience.
- Paid overtime or time off in lieu available on a weekend rota basis
