Portmarnock Golf Club is looking for a dedicated Greenkeeper to join our esteemed team and contribute to the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of our world-class Links. This role is ideal for a passionate individual with strong communication skills, reliability, and a commitment to excellence in greenkeeping.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Deputy Head Greenkeeper, Head Greenkeeper, and Links Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of course maintenance, from daily setup to fine turf management. This position requires a team player who can also take initiative when working independently.

Responsibilities & Attributes

- Proficient in the use of Turf Assistant for daily tasks.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with management and other members of the greenkeeping team.
- Excellent work ethic.

Candidate Requirements

- Qualifications: Relevant amenity turf qualifications.
- Experience: Proven experience in a role within a golf course or sports-turf environment.
- Skills: Strong communication, and the ability to work effectively within a team and on own initiative.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to exceptional course presentation.
- Driving Licence: The candidate will need a full or provisional licence.
