A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a new Trainee/Registered PGA Assistant to join our team at Turnhouse Golf Club Professional Shop. We are looking for a friendly, confident, and knowledgeable individual who is happy working as part of a team. Our aim is to provide a professional and personal service to our club members and visitors.

About the role:

This is a permanent, full-time position based on-site at our private members Golf Club located to the West side of Edinburgh. Turnhouse is home to excellent facilities with a full length 14 bay driving range, putting greens and short game area. Additionally, we have an indoor custom fitting suite with the latest Trackman 4 technology.

This role will include a variety of responsibilities including, day to day running of our Professional Shop, tee booking system, club competitions, sales & merchandising. Our ideal candidate will have the opportunity to provide members and visitors with coaching; as well as custom fitting sessions at our indoor and outdoor facilities (using Trackman 4 technology). The successful candidate will play a key role in developing our Junior Section within the Golf Club.

You will have a strong customer service ethos of being honest with high integrity. Golf is our passion, so having a natural appetite for the game of golf and being customer centric to provide the best level of service to our members and guests is essential.

Lastly you will have support and mentorship from our Head Professional, as well as uniform provided. We may also support through PGA/events if required.

A competitive salary will be paid to the successful candidate with extra earning potential through commissions and coaching.
