LIV Golf announces partnership with Rick Shiels

LIV Golf has announced a multi-year partnership with Rick Shiels Media, marking its first collaboration with a major content creator. Rick Shiels, widely known as the world’s most-followed golf content creator, will take on the role of LIV Golf ambassador. Through this partnership, Shiels will provide his audience with an inside look at the league's players, teams, and courses, delivering his signature style of golf content to fans worldwide.

What the Partnership Involves

As part of this collaboration, Rick Shiels will attend all 14 LIV Golf League events in 2025. His content will include familiar formats such as:

Break 75: Playing at LIV Golf venues during event weeks and aiming to break 75 on the same courses as the professionals.

10 Shot Challenge: Competing against top players from the league, starting 10 under par.

5 Man Scramble: Joining LIV teams for a 6-hole scramble format to determine which team can post the lowest score.

2 v 2 Matches: Hosting competitive matches featuring players from the league in a head-to-head tournament format.

The partnership is designed to introduce LIV Golf to new audiences through Shiels’ existing following while offering a closer look at the league’s approach to the sport.

TotShots Initiative for Young Golfers

In addition to event coverage, Rick Shiels will also launch TotShots, a new programme aimed at introducing children aged 3 to 5 to golf. Supported by a $50,000 annual contribution from LIV Golf, this initiative will feature games and activities designed to promote coordination, teamwork, and confidence in young players.
