Rich Beem
Shot Scope has announced that 2002 PGA Championship winner Rich Beem is now their latest brand ambassador. Recognised for his engaging personality and deep understanding of the sport, Beem also serves as a golf analyst and commentator for Sky Sports.

As part of this exciting collaboration, he will appear in Shot Scope’s television commercials and video content, demonstrating the practical benefits and game-improving capabilities of their advanced laser rangefinders, GPS watches, and shot-tracking technology.

“Rich Beem is one of the most charismatic and down-to-earth major winners you will ever meet, and we’re excited to work with Rich to help golfers all across North America understand the many ways Shot Scope technology can help them better understand their performance on the course and play with ultimate trust and confidence in their yardages on their path to improvement,” said Shot Scope CEO David Hunter.

Strengthening global reach

Shot Scope is on a mission to establish itself as a leader in golf technology worldwide, with a strong focus on the North American market. The company is expanding its presence in retail outlets and boosting its marketing efforts to ensure its innovative products are more accessible to golfers across the region starting in 2025. Rich Beem’s involvement will help highlight the brand’s ability to assist golfers in analysing their game and making informed decisions for improved performance. His appearances in commercials will illustrate how players can use Shot Scope technology to gain a deeper understanding of their scoring habits and work towards playing better golf.

A natural fit for innovation

“I’m pleased and honoured to be working with the talented and golfer-focused team at Shot Scope and to help golfers realise how to use the game’s best technology to perform their best on the golf course,” said Beem. “To play your best, day in and day out, you have to rely on the best tools in the game. Distance control is probably the number one thing that pros rely on day in and day out. You need to know how far you hit each and every club. With Shot Scope technology, you can finally play some of the best golf of your life. I am very excited about that prospect, especially in my game.”

With a professional career spanning over two decades, Beem achieved notable success, including wins at the 1999 Kemper Open, The International, and his unforgettable victory at the 2002 PGA Championship. Now based in Austin, Texas, he joined the Sky Sports team in 2015 and has become a popular golf analyst. Beem has also contributed his expertise as a voice in the video games PGA Tour 2K21 and PGA Tour 2K23.

Joining an esteemed group

Beem is the latest addition to Shot Scope’s esteemed group of ambassadors, which includes social media star Gabriella DeGasperis (GabbyGolfGirl), television presenter Wayne “Radar” Riley, YouTube personality and golf instructor Peter Finch, acclaimed coach Eric Cogorno, and Mike and Frank Fasano of Golficity media fame.
